Mokokchung, November 25 (MTNews): A felicitation program was organized at Fazl Ali College today to honor the two Meritorious Service Award recipients from the college which was conferred by the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland. The Department awarded Dr. Lanurenla, Assistant Professor and HOD, Department of English, and Zuluwati, Peon, Establishment, a citation and a cash award in recognition of their dedicated service and commitment towards the upliftment and growth of Higher Education.
The program was chaired by Dr. Temjennaro, Assistant Professor, Department of Education and was attended by teaching and non-teaching staff. On the occasion, the Principal Dr. I. Wati Imchen lauded the two achievers and encouraged the faculty to work harder and continue to be more sincere in one’s profession.
L. Tongzuk Sempo, Head Assistant pronounced the invocation followed by short speeches delivered by the recipients and others. The program ended with a mass prayer.
The college also observed Constitution Day on November 25, 2022 at the College Conference Hall at 11:00 am.
As directed by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, the teaching faculty and non-teaching staff led by Dr. E. Benrithung Patton, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution commemorating the Constitution Day i.e., 26th November.
