The Mokokchung Municipal Council on Thursday organized a brief felicitation program to honor its sanitation workers, which was held at the MMC conference hall.
ADC Mokokchung and Administrator of MMC, Chumlamo Humtsoe while delivering a brief speech said that all the sanitation workers and the other staff of MMC are one team and stated that there should be proper coordination and cohesion between them.
He also acknowledged the role of sanitation workers in keeping the town clean and encouraged them to continue working with sincerity and dedication, saying that the town’s cleanliness depend a lot on their effort.
More than 40 MMC sanitation workers were felicitated today.
Further, it was announced that MMC will be presenting the ‘Best Sanitation Worker’ award on December 24 after the 49th Inter Ward Christmas Cake Race competition.
