Mokokchung, January 20 (MTNews): The first meeting of the Model Code of Conduct committee was held today in the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall which was attended by all the members.
During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner briefed the members on the Model Code of Conduct during the election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 2023, which will come into force with immediate effect. Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung also supplemented the topic.
In the meeting, the list of expenditure head wise approved note to be followed by the candidates during the election was also distributed.
The second round of Meeting cum Training for all the Magistrate/In-Charge, Police personnel (FST/SST) Team leaders of Election Expenditure Monitoring Cell under Mokokchung District for the upcoming general election was held at DC’s Conference hall on January 20.
During the training session, Election Expenditure monitoring module for AEO, Accounting team, MCMC, Flying squad team, Static Surveillance team, Video Surveillance team and Video viewing team was shared by Dhritishree Bordolai, MGNF, Aosanen, DLMT and Lipoktoshi, DLMT respectively.
The introductory remarks during the training program were delivered by DC & DEO Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh IAS and SP Mokokchung, Manoj Kumar IPS.
