Mokokchung, 12 April (MTNews): As part of the Nagaland Education Project – The Lighthouse – Nagaland Enhancing Classroom Teaching and Resources (NECTAR), the learners of GMS Salangtem, Mokokchung with the objective of enlightening the students about the vocational training avenues on completion of Class X, embarked on a field visit to the Industrial Training Institute at Marepkong Ward, Mokokchung on 12 April. The learners were accompanied by their facilitators.
In the Institute, the learners were given an orientation of the various vocational courses offered by the Institute, the eligibility criteria etc. The learners were also given a good tour of the Institute.
The visit to the Institute gave hands-on experience and awareness about the working of educational training institutes that prepares people for various skilled crafts, a press release from the school stated.
