Mokokchung, 15 February (MTNews): With a mission to enhance employment and skill development, Jubilee Memorial College launched the DCA course at the college campus on February 15, 2024.
A total of 29 applicants have successfully registered for the course, an update from the college said. The course will be offered by the Institute of Computer Science and Technology, Mokokchung branch, recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education, Government of Nagaland.
Dr Imtiwati Jamir, Principal of Jubilee Memorial College, urged people to enroll in training programs and acquire new skills as they are essential for finding work. He emphasized how the NEP 2020 underscores the value of vocational education and how it will expedite their future in various ways.
Matsung Pongen and Sentirenba, Instructors from ICST, highlighted the necessity of taking computer courses since they are major prerequisites in many career platforms. The launching program was headed by Tsungrosenla Jamir, Assistant Professor in the Department of English at JMC.
