The Wushu team has improved upon their previous medal tally, having won six bronze medals in the 2nd edition but performing much better in the 3rd edition, aided by the advantage of the home crowd at Chümoukedima district.

The two-day Wushu competition was held as part of the NE Games 2024 at the Sovima Futsal ground, featuring a total of 58 players from different states of the Northeast.

Vipu Zhimomi, Nupa Kiho, and Kekhrieneitso Angami had to settle for silver medals after losing in the final round.
