Mokokchung, March 20 (MTNews): In view of reopening of all schools and in the interest of students’ safety, the Salangtem Ward Yimden has issued a new set of traffic regulations to be enforced with effect from March 22, 2022 during school hours as requested by the school authorities in the Ward. Chairman of Salangtem Ward, Lanuakum, informed that “one-way traffic” from Milak Junction to Salangtem Ward Community Hall Junction would be enforced thrice a day.
The first regulation will be from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the morning, the second regulation will be from 11:30 AM to 12:00 o’clock in the forenoon, and the third regulation will be from 1:10 PM to 3:00 PM in the afternoon. It may be mentioned that there are two schools in the locality, namely Jubilee Memorial School and Edith Douglas HSS.
Salangtem Ward Yimden has requested all the parents and guardians coming to drop or pick their wards to cooperate with the traffic personnel and to adhere to traffic discipline and etiquette. Salangtem Ward Yimden also requested the public to bear with the inconveniences caused, if any.
