A team of the Social Welfare Department headed by Secretary, Martha R Ritse, IAS visited various institutions under Shamator District on 7 December, 2024.
During her visit, a consultative meeting was held with all the concerned stakeholders including representatives from government departments, community Leaders, NGOs, Tribal Leaders and DLC. The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen integrated service for Women and Children.
The team also visited District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW), CDPO Office, DCPO office, One Stop Centre (OSC) construction site and Anganwadi center at Veterinary Ward.
The Secretary was accompanied by Additional Secretary, Bodeno S Colo, Director Social Welfare, Tosheli Zhimomi and a host of officials from the department of Social Welfare and DHEW.
