The Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, has issued detailed security arrangements for the Midnight Service Program scheduled to take place on December 31, 2024, from 9:00 PM at Main Police Point, Mokokchung, organized by the ‘Mokokchung Centric’ group.
According to a ‘Security Order’ issued by Vesupra Kezo NPS, Sr. Superintendent of Police, Mokokchung, traffic personnel will be deployed across six junctions near the venue, supervised by the Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Traffic Control.
For crowd control, police personnel, including women officers, will be stationed to manage the crowd.
Officers from PS-I, PS-II, and Women Police Station will oversee crowd control duties at various points.
Personnel from NAP (IR) will serve as the reserve force, stationed at PS-I. Quick Response Teams (QRT) will be on standby to handle emergencies and additional personnel will be stationed near Imkongmeren Sports Complex.
UBI Vikehieto Kennao (OC PS-I) has been designated as the overall in-charge of the security arrangements.
As per the security order, all deployments are to be completed by 8:00 pm on December 31.
