Nagaland Chief Secretary, J. Alam has informed in a circular that there will not be any further extension on the order imposing restrictions and measures for containment of COVID-19 in the state beyond March 31.

 

He further informed that SOPs for travelers/tourists entering Nagaland in the context of COVID-19 will also be stand withdrawn from April 1.

 

However, as a measure of abundant caution, all are strongly advised to continue adhering to the COVID-19 appropriate behaviours, the circular said.

 

Further, everyone above 12 years of age have been advised to get fully vaccinated against Covid-19, and to take precautionary dose at the earliest if due.

 

 

The notification added that the Health and Family Welfare department would continue to monitor the situation and focus on the five-fold strategy – Test-Track-Treat- Vaccination and adherence to Covid-appropriate behaviour.
