Kohima edges past Tseminyu in a thrilling 10-run victory
Kohima secured a hard-fought 10-run victory over Tseminyu in the Senior Men’s Inter-District Tournament 2025 at Sovima Cricket Ground. The closely contested match saw Kohima defend their modest total of 172, thanks to disciplined bowling and a crucial batting performance from Player of the Match, Imomenba.
After winning the toss, Kohima elected to bat first but struggled to accelerate, managing 172/10 in 39.3 overs. Kechesin Keppen (4/39) and Nuntilo Magh (3/25) led the charge, ensuring Kohima did not build a bigger total.
Chasing 173 for victory, Tseminyu showed resilience but ultimately fell short, getting bowled out for 162 in 39.3 overs.
