Don Bosco Sports Academy (DBSA), in collaboration with the Dimapur District Basketball Association (DDBA), will organise the 2nd Autumn Basketball Tournament from October 15 to 17 at the Don Bosco Indoor Stadium, Dimapur.
The tournament is open to high school and higher secondary school students from across Nagaland and aims to promote sportsmanship and teamwork while identifying young basketball talent for state-level competition.
This year’s edition is expected to see increased participation, with the newly completed Don Bosco Indoor Stadium hosting its first basketball tournament. Teams from different parts of Nagaland are expected to take part and showcase their skills.
The organisers said the tournament will provide young players with an opportunity to develop discipline, teamwork and confidence while understanding their potential. It will also allow schools to promote their sports programmes and give students exposure to a professionally organised competition.
