Nagaland’s celebrated artists Imna Yaden and Lenen Jamir have come together for a powerful duet, releasing their new music video “Longjemti (Let’s Unite)” at a special launch event today.


The music video was officially released by Dr SC Jamir, former Chief Minister of Nagaland and former Governor of multiple Indian states, during a program held in Chümoukedima.

Speaking at the launch, Dr Jamir praised the artists for their creative contribution to society through music, saying art holds the power to promote unity and cultural pride. He encouraged both Imna and Lenen to continue delving deeper into their cultural roots to help preserve and promote Nagaland’s rich heritage.

“Longjemti”, meaning “Let’s Unite,” is a message of solidarity, peace, and cultural pride. The song blends soulful melodies with traditional undertones and contemporary elements, aiming to resonate with listeners across different ages and backgrounds.

The collaboration between Imna Yaden and Lenen Jamir reflects a growing movement among Naga artists to use their platform not only for entertainment but also for cultural preservation and social messaging.
