The die has been cast for the first four teams of the quarter finals. Dimapur will meet neighbors and debutants Niuland in the first quarter final match while defending champions Phek will face Mon in the second quarter finals. All the quarter final matches will be played on Tuesday, April 26.
Fixture for the other two quarter finals will be decided on Monday as the last leg of the round robin concludes then. There are still no clear winners in Group C while Tseminyu and Kohima have already qualified from Group D. Tseminyu and Kohima will face each other on Monday to decide the winner of Group D. A draw would mean Tseminyu take the top honours.
Meanwhile, Group C is still wide open where all 4 teams in the group have the mathematically possible chance to make it to the next round to face either Tseminyu or Kohima.
The last leg of the group stages of the XXII Inter District Football Championship 2022 Dr. T. Ao Trophy will be played on Monday.
