A new restaurant-cum-leisure spot called The Catch Up (TCU) has officially opened its doors at Tzüsapang Sector, opposite Woodland Nursing Home, Mokokchung. The establishment offers fast food alongside a snooker pool table, aiming to become more than just a dining destination.
According to 32-year-old proprietor Imlijungla Longkumer, TCU is envisioned as “a place where people can come not just to eat, but to relax, hang out, and enjoy a comfortable time out.”
The menu at TCU includes a variety of items such as pizzas, shakes, cold and hot coffee, lemonade, mojitos, and other fast food options. “We want to offer something for everyone, whether it’s a quick bite or a refreshing drink,” said Longkumer. The restaurant is open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

This marks Longkumer’s second venture in her entrepreneurial journey. Her first, a fresh fruit and juice outlet at Green Campo, didn’t take off as hoped. “It didn’t give me the success I needed,” she admitted.
This time around, however, Longkumer describes her journey as a “blessing,” crediting her father who invested in the business and has been a pillar of support.
She also draws inspiration from her late mother, who used to make pickles and run a garment shop. “My mother would always tell me to follow her legacy,” she recalled, her voice tinged with emotion. Her mother passed away last year, but Longkumer carries her spirit forward in her entrepreneurial pursuits.
Among the unique offerings at The Catch Up is a point-based coupon system for loyal customers. For every Rs 100 spent, patrons earn 50 points—meaning a bill of Rs 500 would give 250 points, which can be redeemed for Rs 100 in value.
Longkumer also shared a personal reason behind the inclusion of a snooker pool table. “I used to love playing pool, but as a woman, we don’t always feel comfortable going to pool halls. So I thought—why not create a space where women can also come and play freely?” she said. The pool table will be available at a charge of Rs 100 per hour.
In addition to regular dining, the restaurant is open for small event bookings such as birthdays or meetings.
The restaurant was inaugurated with a dedicatory prayer led by Tzüsapang Pastor Supong.
