The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) councillor from Artang Ward, Yongkongsangla R, sponsored the conduct of a one-day workshop on vermicomposting and pickling, along with a Financial Awareness Camp. The objective was to train and empower the educated unemployed youth of the ward for self-reliance and employment. The events were held at the Artang Ward community hall on 9 August.
Resource persons from the District Horticulture Office, SBI Bazar Branch, and Swavalamban Connect Kendra Mokokchung trained more than 60 youths from Artang Ward.
