The defending champions, Tuensang District Football Association (TDFA), have bowed out of the 24th Dr T Ao Inter-District Football Championship 2025, but they do so with a message of heartfelt thanks and unwavering spirit. In a statement released following their elimination, TDFA reflected not on disappointment, but on gratitude for the support and dedication that defined their campaign.
Acknowledging their fans, TDFA highlighted the crucial role supporters played in lifting the team’s morale during every match. “You gave us strength when our legs were heavy,” TDFA said. The players were praised for their commitment. “To our players, who fought with heart, discipline, and dignity until the final whistle, you made Tuensang proud.”
