The Village Congress Committee (VCC) Treasurer Dedication Program was held on 20 September at Imsutemjen, near Church, Chare Town. The program began at 10:00 AM with Longdilong, AGS (Youth), presiding as the chairperson.
The event commenced with an invocation prayer by Yangthsingli, Pastor CTBL, followed by a welcome address from B Toshi, Joint Secretary ACC.
In their speeches, leaders highlighted loyalty, discipline, and accountability as essential qualities for party workers. Chotsase, President DCC, emphasized the need for dedication and added that Supongmeren Jamir, MP Lok Sabha and President NPCC, has contributed significantly to the development of Eastern Nagaland in Parliament, and it is now time for party members to show their support.
Rangkha, PCC, called for unity among Congress workers, while Sekhamong, President 52 AC LKM–Chare, urged honesty and transparency in performing treasurer duties. Speakers also reminded attendees that dedication carries both a spiritual and moral responsibility.
The program concluded with a benediction prayer by the congregation. Organizers said the event was meaningful, encouraging all members to work together for the growth of the Congress party and the well-being of the people of Chare Town.
