Nagaland is set to host the 28th Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) Inter-District and State Table Tennis Championship from September 30 to October 3, 2025, at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium. The event is organized by the Nagaland Table Tennis Association, which has district associations across all the state’s districts.

The championship is supported by UTT, led by Vita Dani and Niraj Bajaj, which envisions India winning an Olympic medal in table tennis by 2028. The league aims to inspire youth, entertain and engage fans, promote grassroots development, and deliver value to all stakeholders.

Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, Government of Nagaland, K. G. Kenye, has consented to grace the opening ceremony as the special guest. Sporting stars, enthusiasts, and veterans from all 13 districts of Nagaland have confirmed participation. Competitors will vie for the prestigious Team Championship title along with awards in various other categories.

The tournament will be officiated by Ksh. Mahendra Singh, Blue Batch International Referee from Imphal. All table tennis fans are invited to witness the biggest state-level tournament, and entry to the venue will be free.
