Mayangnokcha Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) emerged as the winners of the 10th Inter School Beat Contest 2025 held at Town Hall, Mokokchung, while Queen Mary Higher Secondary School (HSS) secured the runners-up position.

Organized by the Students’ Welfare Society, Alumni of Hill View Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung, the contest was held under the theme ‘Rhythm Unites’ and featured participation from eleven schools across the district.
Individual awards were presented to outstanding performers, with Tiakumla of Queen Mary HSS receiving the Best Vocalist award. Aotoshi Longkumer of Mayangnokcha GHSS was named Best Guitarist, Putuningsang Aier of Mayangnokcha GHSS won Best Drummer, Heni Phom of Christian Residential HSS was awarded Best Bassist, and Ayangla Pongener of Bridges Academy, Changtongya, received the Best Manager title.
The event featured an opening act by Children School and a special presentation by ‘Class of Music’, along with performances by guest bands Side Line and Generation Gap. The contest was hosted by Abinah Jamir.
The program was graced by Imtiakum, Coordinator of Nagaland Minerals and Mines (CSR), as chief guest.
