The Naga People’s Front (NPF) has convened a Traditional Central Executive Council (CEC) meeting on Monday, October 20, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the party’s Central Office near Hotel Japfü, Kohima. The meeting holds special significance as Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio is set to address the CEC for the first time in his capacity as the new Leader of the NPF Legislature Party following the recent merger of the NDPP with the NPF.

According to a notice issued by NPF Vice President (Administration) S Akho Leyri, all CEC members, including division representatives, president’s nominees, and party MLAs, have been requested to attend the meeting without fail.
