A wrestling coaching camp is currently underway at Tuensang, organized by the Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) in collaboration with the Chang Wrestling Association (CWA). The camp runs from November 10 to 13, 2025, with a focus on Freestyle Wrestling, Greco-Roman Wrestling, and Traditional Naga Wrestling.

The coaching camp is attended by both men and women wrestlers from the Chang community. The Chang Wrestling Association, headed by Er. Chingmak, EE Water Resources, as President, functions under the aegis of the Chang Sports Association (CSA), the apex sports body. The CWA is one of five newly formed wrestling units provisionally affiliated with the Nagaland Wrestling Association.

The coach for the camp is Kikhwesül Thokhwe, Co-opted Technical Secretary of NWA. The inaugural program was held at the Multipurpose Hall, Tuensang, attended by participating wrestlers and officials from both the NWA and CWA.

Rangsilang Ikierembe, Property Secretary of NWA, delivered the keynote address, encouraging wrestlers to pursue wrestling as a profession. He highlighted the scope and potential of wrestling at the state, national, and international levels. He also emphasized the progress wrestling has made in the state and urged participants to prepare and take part in various upcoming wrestling events and championships across all levels.
