The Eastern Naga Students’ Federation (ENSF) has announced that it will observe Black Day on December 4 and 5, 2025, at the Eastern Naga morungs located at the Naga Heritage Village, Kisama. The federation has issued directives to all Kohima-based tribal units under the Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) to ensure strict compliance with the guidelines.
According to ENSF, all Eastern Naga morungs will hoist a black flag at 5:00 AM on December 4 to mark the beginning of the observance.
The federation has also informed that all participants from Eastern tribes must assemble at the Konyak Morung on December 5 at 4:30 PM for a candlelight vigil program. Participants have been requested to attend the event in traditional attire.
ENSF further directed that all morungs owned by the Eastern Naga community are to remain closed during the program.
