Adding to the devotional atmosphere, Sonu Chhetri briefly emphasized the significance of Advent Christmas, reminding the congregation of its deeper meaning as a season of preparation and hope. The programme moved forward with special songs presented by the Women’s Department under the leadership of Kalpana, followed by a performance from the BYE team led by Youth Pastor Suresh Thapa. Their musical contributions added warmth and devotion to the service. The offertory prayer was led by Prakash Khadka, offering thanks and dedicating the service to God.

The speaker, Pastor Dr. Bhim Sapkota, delivered the Advent message on the theme “A Season of Preparation and Hope,” drawing from Isaiah 40:3. Before beginning his sermon, he invited the Women’s Department to present a short skit that illustrated the message that Christmas is for everyone, whether rich or poor. In his sermon, Dr. Sapkota emphasized that Christmas is not merely about decorating homes or churches but about preparing hearts to wait upon the Lord. He reminded the congregation that the Israelites endured 400 years of silence before the prophecy of Jesus’ birth was fulfilled, underscoring the importance of patience and spiritual readiness. He also urged believers to cast away all forms of wickedness and make room for Jesus.

The service concluded with a prayer, the benediction, a photo session and light refreshments.
