The 75th anniversary of Yongshei Village Baptist Church, Longleng, was celebrated from December 19 to 21, 2025, under the theme “Thus Far the Lord Has Helped Us.” The Executive Secretary of the Phom Baptist Christian Association, N. Tialemba Phom, unveiled and dedicated the Platinum Jubilee Monolith of Yongshei Baptist Church. The inscription on the jubilee stone reads, “How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders. His kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and His dominion is from generation to generation” (Daniel 4:3).
The Platinum Jubilee celebration was held at the Yongshei (Büshok) site Platinum Jubilee Hall and was attended by the entire Yongshei community, delegates from various Phom churches, guests from other tribes, and relatives and well-wishers from near and far.
The programme began with the opening ceremony of the Platinum Jubilee Hall, followed by the screening of a short documentary on the advent of Christianity in Yongshei village.
N. Tialemba Phom, Executive Secretary of PBCA, C. Shaoang, Missionary with Youth With A Mission, New Delhi, Dr. Y. Nuklu Phom, Chairman and Team Leader, Lemsachenlok Longleng, and M. Moishen Buchem, Literature Secretary of PBCA, served as jubilee speakers.
Delivering the message, N. Tialemba Phom highlighted the mercy of God and the blessings bestowed upon the people of Yongshei over the past 75 years. He encouraged the congregation to become ambassadors of God’s mission within their community and beyond.
The three-day Platinum Jubilee celebration of Yongshei Baptist Church Attoi concluded under the leadership of the Jubilee Planning Committee, chaired by H. Yongko, along with Associate Pastor L. Yemsho of Yongshei Baptist Church Attoi, and ended with a closing prayer.
A special Talent Expo presented by Dreamz Unlimited, Nagaland, added colour and vibrancy to the celebration.
