In a preliminary enquiry conducted by the Diphupar Police Station, seven cadres of the NSCN/GPRN-K (Khango-Vusshe) faction have been identified in connection with the abduction and assault of a local resident. A criminal case has been registered under DPR C/No. 04/2026, citing multiple sections of law including 140/920, 930/351, 308(2), 131, 127(2), and 3(5) BNS read with 7/88 NSR.

The accused have been named as:
H. Kiba – Special Ceasefire Identity Card holder (Card No. 58)
Lovito Yeptho – Special Ceasefire Identity Card holder (Card No. 63)
Viniho Kiho – Special Ceasefire Identity Card holder (Card No. 100)
Vika Chophy – Special Ceasefire Identity Card holder (Card No. 07)
Issak Rochill
Hukhevi Yeptho
Khuluto

Authorities have stated that other cadres of the group, whose names have been circulated in media reports, are also under investigation.

The Ceasefire Monitoring Cell of NSCN/GPRN-K (Khango-Vusshe) has been formally requested to hand over the seven prime accused, who are suspected to be sheltering at the CFSB Office in Thilixu, to police for further legal action. Officials have also warned that if any of the accused are outside the office and evading arrest, they must immediately present themselves before the police for investigation.

In a further directive, the Special Ceasefire Identity Cards of H. Kiba, Lovito Yeptho, Viniho Kiho, and Vika Chophy have been cancelled with immediate effect.

Police have urged the public and the concerned group to cooperate fully in ensuring the investigation proceeds without obstruction.
