MITA (Meranga Inyaker Taküm Alitsü), an initiative of the Alempang Baptist Church in collaboration with the Canada Baptist Mission, has once again achieved a major milestone in successfully launching the 3rd phase of its social ministry – Car Wash Servicing Centre – on 12th of May, 2022.
The servicing centre is located adjacent to the Grace Garden of Alempang Baptist Church. It was inaugurated by Lemasashi, Chairman of Alempang Ward Yimden. The ward chairman while speaking at the inauguration emphasized on the importance of dignity of labour and how all must work hard and smart to live a good, comfortable life.
Rev. Dr. Temsu S. Pastor of Alempang Baptist Church offered dedicatory prayer for the newly inaugurated initiative.
The sole objective of this project is to provide quality customer service to the citizens. Two dedicated youths of Alempang are the stakeholders of this project.
Earlier this year, MITA has launched the first two phases of its ministry – 1st phase was opening a MITA outlet centre; 2nd phase was where 10 unemployed youths were provided with piglets for setting up small scale piggery farm.
