The Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA), in collaboration with the Tuensang District Legal Services Authority (TDLSA) and the District Administration, Noklak, organised the first Mini Legal Services Camp at the Noklak District Headquarters today.

The program was chaired by Muthiam (Front Office, PLV), with an invocation offered by A Penglang, Pastor of Noklak Town Baptist Church. In his welcome address, P Mono Khiamniungan, NCS and Deputy Commissioner of Noklak, extended a warm welcome to the Member Secretary of NSLSA and the TDLSA team. He requested that similar legal services programmes be organised in Noklak Sub-Divisions in the near future.

The keynote address was delivered by Neiko Akami, NJS and Member Secretary, NSLSA, who explained the purpose of the Mini Legal Services Camp and highlighted services provided by the Legal Services Authority, including legal aid, victim compensation, and Lok Adalat.

Before delivering the vote of thanks, Shri Kumdilong Kessen, NJS and Secretary of TDLSA, briefly outlined the various departments present at the camp and the free services they were providing. He thanked the Member Secretary, NSLSA, and the Deputy Commissioner of Noklak for approving the camp and expressed gratitude to all participating departments for making their services accessible to the public.

The inauguration of the camp was followed by the participation of multiple departments from the district, including:

• Aadhaar Enrollment
• Horticulture
• Agriculture
• Fisheries and Aquatic Resources
• Food and Civil Supply
• Social Welfare
• Medical Department
• State Bank of India (SBI)
• Nagaland State Transport Corporation Ltd (NStCB, LTD)
• Post Office
