Naga musician Imnainla Jamir has achieved a major milestone in her musical journey, becoming an official endorsee of globally renowned guitar brand Ibanez. With this, she has become the first female Ibanez guitar endorsee from India.

Widely respected for its innovation and craftsmanship, Ibanez guitars are used by some of the world’s most celebrated musicians.
Imnainla’s inclusion in the brand’s national and international roster reflects recognition of her talent, musicality, and growing influence as a guitarist and performer, according to the Task Force for Music & Arts (TaFMA), Nagaland.
She has built a reputation for her distinctive playing style, strong stage presence, and dedication to her craft.
As an Ibanez endorsee, she will represent the brand and perform using its guitars, joining a global community of musicians associated with the iconic label.
Expressing her gratitude, Imnainla thanked Hoshino Gakki (Ibanez Japan) and the Music Distribution Company for making the endorsement possible and providing her with a global platform.
She also acknowledged the continued support of her family, well-wishers, and TaFMA, Government of Nagaland.
“It is truly an honour to be part of the Ibanez family. I hope this journey inspires more young musicians from our region and beyond to pursue their passion,” she said.
The endorsement marks an important milestone not only in Imnainla Jamir’s career but also for India’s music community, highlighting the growing global presence of Indian musicians.
