The book Nonpareille was launched on March 20, 2025 at the VDC Conference Hall in Wokha, Nagaland, by Mhathung Yanthan, MLA and Advisor for Agriculture.

Authored by Sentsudy Yanthan, also known as P.B. Sen, the publication adds to his growing body of literary work. In his introductory remarks, the author shared the inspiration behind the book and spoke about the challenges he faced while developing it. He attributed the completion of the work to resilience and a positive outlook. The book is dedicated to his late father, Benrio Yanthan, who served as a teacher, postmaster, chairman, VDB secretary of Mekokla village, and later as a pastor in Chanka village.
Congratulating the author, the chief guest highlighted the intellectual effort required to transform ideas into a published work. He expressed concern over declining reading habits in the digital age and emphasized the importance of reading in fostering critical thinking, broadening perspectives, and nurturing responsible individuals. He encouraged the audience to engage with books as a means of enhancing creativity and knowledge.
Published by 6th Fingers Publisher, Kohima, the novel was introduced by Sentinaro Longkumer, who provided an overview of its themes. Nonpareille explores issues of integrity, self-discipline, and resilience, while reflecting rural life and human values.
The programme was attended by Myingthungo Kikon, Chairman of Wokha Town, Birenthung Kikon, Additional SP Wokha, representatives of various organisations, members of the Lotha Students’ Union, Wokha District VDB Association, NPF Wokha District president Meribemo Kinghen, and others. The event was compered by Senjano L. Kikon, with book dedication by Pastor Merisao and closing prayer by Shanjobeni Patton.
