The Department of Information Technology and Communication, Nagaland has informed that, in the interest of public service, the Governor of Nagaland has constituted a State High Level Committee (SHLC) for the Chief Minister’s Technology Hub in the State.
The CM Hub will function as a high-level platform under the Chief Minister to drive adoption and innovation in information technology, electronics, and emerging niche technologies.
The committee will comprise the Chief Minister as Chairman, Advisor IT&C as Deputy Chairman, Advisor to the Chief Minister, Chief Secretary, Commissioner and Secretary IT&C, Public Relations Officer to the Chief Minister, a co-opted member of the Chairman, and Commissioner and Secretary to the Chief Minister as members.
The State High Level Committee will serve as the apex policy and strategic oversight body. It will formulate and recommend policies related to IT and emerging technologies, identify and prioritise key projects, and pursue funding from Government of India schemes and other sources. It will also facilitate inter-departmental coordination, monitor project progress, and provide expert inputs on technology adoption and innovation.
The committee will meet quarterly to review strategy, policy decisions, and project status. A Programme Management Unit comprising domain experts and technical teams will be set up under the Department of IT&C, which will act as the nodal department and executing agency. The PMU will submit monthly progress and risk reports.
No separate salary or honorarium will be provided to members, and provisions of the Nagaland Rules of Executive Business, 2020 will be followed.
