The Nagaland Football Association has announced that the 5th Nagaland Futsal Club Championship 2026 will be held in June, with Tseminyu set to host the tournament under the aegis of the Football Association Tseminyu District.
According to a press release, the decision follows resolutions taken during the association’s executive meetings earlier this year. The championship will feature clubs from across Nagaland through a district level qualification process.
All District Football Associations have been directed to conduct their respective district futsal championships and nominate the winning teams for the state level tournament. Reports of these competitions must be submitted to the association on or before May 31, 2026.
Defending champions Aphuyemi FC have been granted automatic entry into the tournament. The team, however, remains eligible to participate in district level competitions if it chooses.
The concerned DFAs and the host DFA for the 5th NFCC 2026, FA Tseminyu District, have been informed to coordinate with the NFA Futsal Committee (8414006937) for any further queries or information in this regard.
