The Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN), led by Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya Kedahge, has welcomed the return of national workers from the Chakhesang Region, including both civil authorities and members of the Naga Army.
According to a statement issued by T. Loyer Chang, Raliwal (MIP) Kilonser, FGN, the returning group was led by Brigadier Kuveshevo Venuh, 5th Brigade Commander, Southern Command, Naga Army, and had earlier been associated with the Thupuneyi Rhakho Group.
The statement said their joining would strengthen the Chakhesang Region under the leadership of Brig. (Retd) S. Singnya Kedahge and contribute to the larger cause of the Naga nation.
FGN also announced the appointment of Ino Toto Nienu as Acting Midan Peyu of the Chakhesang Region. The organisation appealed to well-wishers and the public to extend their support and cooperation to the newly appointed official for the smooth functioning of the region.
The names of the returning Naga Army personnel listed in the statement include Brigadier Kuveshevo Venuh, Major Rami Venuh, Major Mulukhoto Chizo, Major Kevi, Captain Veneo, and Lieutenant Vesavo.
