A day-long “Bless Kohima Northeast: India Prayer Drive” has been held across various locations in Kohima, led by Rev. Dr. Vizotuo Kiewhuo, Principal of Kohima Bible College and Founder and Senior Pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church, Kohima, and Koinonia Prayer Centre, Tsiesema Basa.

He was joined by Rev. Luoliehu Yimsung, a missionary from Nagaland serving in Singapore, Australia and Oceania, along with participants from Kohima Bible College, Koinonia Baptist Church and Koinonia Prayer Centre.

According to organisers, prayer sessions were conducted at multiple locations across the state capital, including Jakhama Ground, Kohima Peace Memorial Park (opposite the Cultural Hall), Kohima Science College, Jotsoma, Kohima Orphanage Home, and D Khel Ground, Seikhazou, before culminating at Koinonia Prayer Centre.

The prayer drive focused on seeking peace, forgiveness, reconciliation and unity, while invoking blessings for deliverance, prosperity and development.

Organisers stated that prayers were offered at key “gateways” of the city, described as strategic points. Participants also made prophetic declarations, praying for protection and invoking blessings of life, peace and growth.

A total of 89 participants from the participating institutions took part in the initiative.
