A meeting regarding the Foothill Road project and the proposed extension of the road beyond the existing 10-metre Right of Way (RoW) was held at Dobashis Court, Tuli on May 11.
The meeting was convened in pursuance of directives issued by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung and was attended by representatives of the Tuli Area Foothill Road Land Owners Association, Village Council Chairmen and Secretaries of Kangtsung, Kangtsungyimsen, Wameken, Wamekenyimsen and Anaki, along with other stakeholders under Tuli Sub-division.
During the meeting, participants deliberated on matters relating to the ongoing Foothill Road project, particularly the proposal for extension and widening of the road corridor beyond the existing 10-metre RoW. Various concerns and suggestions raised by landowners and village representatives were also discussed to facilitate smooth implementation of the project.
The meeting concluded with assurances for continued consultation with stakeholders in the interest of public welfare and infrastructure development.
