Rs 2.5-crore community-funded project to serve as commercial hub
Advisor for NSDMA and Inland Waterways, Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, inaugurated the Meluri Community Building, named “Mülüo Rezü”, at Meluri Town on Monday.

Speaking at the inauguration, Nyuthe expressed satisfaction over the completion of the building, describing it as a symbol of unity and collective effort among the people of Meluri.
He said the community building, envisioned as a mini shopping mall, would provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs and help boost economic activities in the town.
Emphasising the importance of unity in development, Nyuthe said progress is possible when people work together with a common purpose. He noted that cooperation and collective effort are essential for overcoming challenges and achieving shared goals.
The Advisor also commended the construction committee for its efforts and highlighted the importance of servant leadership. He said true leadership is demonstrated through dedication, hard work and a commitment to serving others.
According to the committee’s report, the community building was constructed at a cost of Rs 2.5 crore. The project was funded through contributions from households across Meluri, reflecting strong community participation in its development.
The building is expected to serve as a commercial hub and create opportunities for local businesses and entrepreneurs.
