The Zuketsa Area Public Organization (ZAPO) observed Sanitation Day across its jurisdiction on July 18.
ZAPO president Kedoutsolhi Wetsah said all affiliated units responded positively to the organisation’s call by carrying out social work in their respective villages and surrounding areas.
He said Sanitation Day plays an important role in maintaining a clean and safe environment, improving public health and beautifying the area. It also helps prevent the spread of diseases, removes accumulated waste that poses health risks, improves the quality of life, supports economic development, and enhances dignity and safety.
