:The Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College (FAC), organised a pep talk for first semester Political Science Core students on Thursday at the college conference hall under the theme “Inspire, Motivate, Achieve.” The programme was conducted in a hybrid mode, with both offline and online participation.
Three guest speakers addressed the students, namely IAS officer Shoukanth Azeem of the AGMUT cadre, Imnawapang, Language Faculty at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), and Ngeplong Wanghsa.
Addressing the gathering, Shoukanth Azeem encouraged students to emulate the resilience of the Naga ancestors and work diligently to succeed in an increasingly competitive world shaped by artificial intelligence. He advised them to plan ahead, cultivate healthy hobbies, and choose friends and mentors wisely.
Imnawapang, an alumnus of Fazl Ali College, stressed the importance of passion and commitment in pursuing one’s goals beyond academic achievements.
Ngeplong Wanghsa, the department’s top scorer from the college, urged students to remain consistent in their efforts, build lasting friendships, and actively participate in academic and extracurricular activities.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr Lipokrenla Jamir, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science.
