The inaugural Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026 concluded on July 26 at The Fitness House, Dimapur, after three days of competitive action, community spirit and impressive displays of pickleball.
Organised by the Nagaland Pickleball Association (NPA), the tournament was held from July 24 to 26 and brought together players from across India. The event featured eight competitive categories, with intense matches leading up to the finals.
The closing ceremony was attended by Mhathung Yanthan, MLA and Advisor, Department of Agriculture, Government of Nagaland, as the Chief Guest.
The tournament featured Open and age-category events, providing players with opportunities to compete across different formats and age groups. A special Champion of Champions category, conducted in a gender-neutral format, brought together players from different categories in a competitive yet engaging showdown.
The event also featured exhibition matches, allowing spectators to watch some of the country’s finest pickleball talent in action. The matches highlighted the skill, sportsmanship and competitive spirit associated with the growing sport.
The NPA expressed gratitude to all players, officials, volunteers, sponsors, partners, media representatives and fans for their support and contribution towards the successful conduct of the inaugural tournament.
The Nagaland Pickleball Masters 2026 marked a significant milestone in the development of pickleball in the Northeast, providing a platform for competition while helping build connections and strengthen the region’s sporting community.
