The Nagaland Esports Society (NES) will organise Tech X Gaming Expo (TXG) 2026 on August 28 and 29 at the NBCC Convention Hall, Kohima, bringing together gaming, technology, artificial intelligence, digital creativity, esports, innovation, education and entertainment.

The expo will be inaugurated by Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who will attend as the Chief Guest. The programme will also feature a welcome address by Moalong Longkumer, President of NES, TXG Expo and Double Uppercut Games, followed by the inauguration and walkthrough of the expo.

The two-day event will feature esports tournaments, gaming competitions, a Cosplay Championship, Digital Art Challenge, AI Creative Video Challenge, 48-hour Game Jam, workshops, speaker sessions, panel discussions, technology and gaming exhibitions, live music and entertainment.

In collaboration with Mumbai Falcons Racing Limited, TXG will host the Kohima Round of the F1 Sim Racing India Open 2026. The competition will provide aspiring racers and technology enthusiasts from Nagaland and the Northeast an opportunity to participate in competitive sim racing as part of a national pathway involving time trials, qualifiers and a national final.

Industry speakers and experts will discuss gaming, technology, artificial intelligence, digital careers and emerging opportunities. Day 1 will include workshops, speaker sessions, mini games, the TXG Trophy unveiling, esports finals and prize distribution, while Day 2 will feature exhibitor booths, cosplay performances, digital competitions, AI challenges, Game Jam activities, musical performances and the grand esports finale.

NES said the expo aims to highlight gaming and technology as fields offering career and entrepreneurial opportunities for young people in Nagaland and the Northeast.

The expo will be held from 9 am to 6 pm on both days.
