The Street Vendors Association Nagaland (SVAN) has invited street food vendors from across the state to apply for selection to represent Nagaland at the National Street Food Festival in Delhi on December 18 and 19.
The festival is being organised by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) and will provide selected vendors an opportunity to showcase Naga cuisine and culinary skills alongside street food vendors from across the country.
SVAN said selected participants will be provided free transportation and accommodation for the duration of the festival.
Applicants are required to produce valid copies of their Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) licence and Street Vending Certificate issued by their respective Town Vending Committee (TVC).
The selection will be based on cooking experience and culinary expertise, with screening to be conducted by SVAN at its head office in Dimapur.
Interested vendors have been asked to visit the SVAN head office in Dimapur with the required documents to apply for selection.
