It has come to the notice of the Tikhir Tribal Council (TTC) that some individuals taking the entity of Tikhir Youth Volunteers and Tikhir Intellectuals are randomly issuing statement and Public Notice using unethical language and fabricated lies against the duly mandated TTC officials and Tikhir public to which, the TTC views it very seriously and the general Tikhir public are hereby informed and clarified not to be confused by such unverified statement issued by the vested individuals closely associated with the dissolved TTC team. Such an unlawful entity claiming to be representing the voice of the Tikhir and issuing statement without name and signatures is highly questionable and may attract recourse to their illegal and unauthorized action deem fit.
The TTC and the entire Tikhir general public question why the so called Tikhir Youth Volunteers are hell-bend to obstruct the peace initiatives undertaken by the Tikhir Baptist Biti Atükhianti (TBBA) when the TTC and the entire Tikhirs are yearning for peace, unity and tranquility within the Tribe and tirelessly working to restore the loss glory and well being of the Tikhir tribe. The so called Tikhir Youth Volunteers has no moral authority to issue any directives or public notices to any Tikhir organizations or village authorities without the consent and knowledge of TTC. The TTC under the able and visionary leadership of Shri. R.T. Kius since its formation is fully committed at working to restore and uphold the unity, integrity and dignity of the Tikhir tribe with the full support and cooperation of the Tikhir people. The present TTC leadership was chosen by hundreds and thousands of Tikhir intellectuals and Tikhir elders representing from all the Tikhir villages and Town. The present TTC leaders are not serving for personal gains and vested interest but to shoulder the responsibility bestowed by the Tikhir people to work for inclusive progress and shaping the shared future for common good and well- being of its future generation. The Tikhir tribe comprises of all people big and small, rich and poor alike irrespective of clans, position or political affiliations. No particular individuals or group has the moral duty and rights to deny and undermine the good deeds rendered by the Tikhir leaders past and present. Any services contributed towards the cause of the tribe by the Tikhir individuals must be mutually respected and honored by all the Tikhir people instead of demeaning their good works and tarnishing the hard earned reputed name and good images of the leaders as they represent Tikhir history and legacies.
The TTC also has taken note of the Public Notice issued by the so called Tikhir Youth Volunteers without name and signatures for checking and frisking of vehicles within the Tikhir jurisdiction on the pretext of restriction of supply of abusive substances and alcohol. The TTC and the State Administration has neither issued any directives in this regard nor authorized any individual or group to initiate such an exercise.
The TTC strongly warns that any individuals/group taking the name and entity of the Tikhir tribe with their hidden agenda to serve their vested interest who are closely associated with some of the dissolved TTC leaders working hand-in-glove with them to desist from such unlawful acts and drama immediately and to stop confusing the innocent Tikhir people with fabricated stories and unverified statement. Failing to comply with this directives, the TTC shall not tolerate anymore and shall initiate necessary disciplinary action as deem fit and the individuals concerned shall be held solely accountable for their acts and commission of offence.
Yours faithfully,
(Y. KIUSUTHONG)
