Kohima, July 2 (MTNews): Chief Executive Officer of Investment and Development Authority of Nagaland (IDAN), Alemtemshi Jamir on Saturday said that Nagaland is looking at improving investments in the state out of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) conclave and bankers’ colloquium scheduled on July 4 and 5 in Kohima where Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to attend.
Alemtemshi said that the Nagaland CSR & Investment Conclave is first of its kind in the State and the platform will give a boost to the NGOs and entrepreneurs to interact with the investing companies. Besides the CSR Conclave, the Bankers and Investors Meet will also be happening side by side.
The CEO also said that the conclave is for the people to get to know the companies which has been a difficult barrier for the citizens to cross and he hoped that this would create an opportunity for the people to be more interactive with the banks. The CSR is to help Nagaland to move forward globally with the corporate world.
He also mentioned that a total of 50 to 60 CEOs and CXOs from Indian industries are coming to the Conclave. He hoped that the conclave will create more investment opportunities in Nagaland.
