Kohima, 28 March (MTNews): Advisor for Food and Civil Supply and Legal Meteorology, KT Sukhalu said the demand of ENPO needs to be addressed and that all possible support should be rendered to make it a reality.
Participating in the Budget discussion today, Sukhalu called upon the ENPO leaders to ensure that projects undertaken in their areas both by the Ministry and the state are properly implemented.
On total prohibition of liquor, Sukhalu maintained that despite all efforts made by the Excise department, prohibition is a total failure in the state. The Advisor, therefore, suggested total lifting of the Prohibition Act and stringent regulations be made to ensure that vendors and public do not misuse the sale and consumption of liquor.
