The Office of the Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has informed all non-locals residing in Mokokchung who are yet to renew or register their AKM Census Card that the last phase of registration will be 22 June 2024. The registration or renewal of AKM Census Cards will be done at the AKM Conference Hall from 10 AM to 4 PM.
The AKM also appealed to all the concerned ward chairman, village councils and employers to ensure that all the non-locals residing within their respective jurisdictions are registered.
“The infiltration of illegal immigrants is a threat to the indigenous inhabitants and has to be fought with joined hands. We expect continued cooperation from the administration and support from all the citizens of Mokokchung,” AKM said.
AKM also informed that there will be intensive checking after the stipulated date and those found without proper documents during inspection will be deported immediately.
It further informed that documents required will be ILP, AKM Census Card, Guarantor and NOC from Ward/Village Council Chairman with detailed house owner name, house number, name of tenant and ward/sector, seal & signature of competent authority.
