Mokokchung, 14 September (MTNews): The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) has submitted a representation to the Director of KC Infra Projects Private Ltd., Dimapur, Nagaland, expressing deep concern over the prolonged delay in the construction of the Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH) in Mokokchung. The apex students’ body highlighted the urgency of addressing this matter, given the significant impact it has on the accessibility and availability of healthcare services for the local community and neighboring districts.

 

According to the representation, the construction of IMDH, in accordance with the Detailed Project Report (DPR) specifications, has exceeded the stipulated time frame, causing inconvenience and compromising the well-being of those in need. The AKM emphasized the critical importance of completing the healthcare infrastructure on time to ensure the well-being and prosperity of the entire community.

 

In its representation, the AKM urged the Director of KC Infra Projects Private Ltd. to intervene immediately by allocating additional manpower to expedite the construction process.

 

AKM also called upon the government and involved contractors to address these delays promptly and prioritize the project’s completion without undue procrastination.

 

The AKM further requested that the project’s completion align with the original DPR specifications, maintaining the highest standards of quality and functionality. “We eagerly anticipate your swift and favorable response, without any further delay,” AKM wrote.

 

The AKM representation to the Director of the construction firm, submitted on 14 September, was appended by its president Launtoshi Aier and general secretary Satemmongba.
