Mokokchung, July 7 (MTNews): Apropos of the news item published in this newspaper on July 3 on the shifting of meat stalls, the Mokokchung Municipal Council has clarified that the line “to relocate the meat stalls presently located at Alongmen Ward of Mokokchung town along NH-02” should be corrected and read as “all the meat stalls (Pork, Beef, Fish) located under Mokokchung Municipal jurisdiction.”
ADC Mokokchung and MMC Administrator, Chumlamo Humtsoe further clarified that, in a meeting held on February 25 with the Core Development Committee, “it was resolved to centralize all the meat shops located under Mokokchung Municipal jurisdiction at Old Town Hall market.”
