The Angami Public Organization (APO) and Sümi Hoho (SH) held a meeting today at the APO Hall in Kohima to strengthen ties and promote harmony between the Angami and Sümi Naga communities.

During the meeting, the two organizations resolved to promote reconciliation and understanding by encouraging open dialogue to address lingering differences and historical grievances, ensuring peaceful coexistence in the future.
To avoid potential misunderstandings, the APO and SH committed to settling any differences amicably through mutual discussions.
Another resolution was to institutionalize regular meetings between the Angami and Sümi communities to sustain dialogue and address shared concerns.
The organizations also emphasized the importance of unity by agreeing to send a collective message to the larger Naga community, demonstrating the strength of collaboration and setting an example of inter-tribal harmony.
The resolutions were signed by Thejao Vihienuo, President of the Angami Public Organization, and Dr Vihuto Asumi, President of the Sümi Hoho.
