The Ao Kaketshir Telungjem Bengaluru (AKTB) has urged Ao youth planning to move to Bengaluru for work or studies to be cautious of fraudulent companies and employment scams.

In an advisory, the union asked job seekers to check the credentials and background of companies before accepting job offers or making travel arrangements.

The union also urged Ao students and working professionals aged 34 and below to register with AKTB after arriving in Bengaluru, saying registration would help it stay in touch with them and provide assistance when needed.

AKTB said its ability to help individuals who had not registered with the union could be limited.

The advisory was issued by president A Sentisenla Imsong and general secretary Yimoakok Longkumer, who urged Ao individuals to remain alert and take precautions against fraud and exploitation.
