The Aotemulung Monolith at Akangkong Süngküm, Mopungchuket village, was inaugurated by Sharingain Longkumer, the Speaker of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly on 19 December 2023..
‘Aotemulung’ is an epithet customarily attributed to Mopungchuket village. The Speaker was also accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner of Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Poji; Ungma Village Council elders, and a host of well-wishers.
